Amy Aines is a communication strategist and author turned educator known for saying “Words Matter!” She is a former wireless industry executive and founder of her own consultancy, who has helped hundreds of leaders from more than 50 companies in the telecom, life sciences, and high-tech sectors drive change and get results.  Since the 2019 publication of her book Championing Science: Communicating Your Ideas to Decision Makers, Amy spends her time teaching career-success communication skills. She believes communication skills are career rocket fuel. She brings a unique blend of experience as a corporate spokesperson, culture architect, technical writer, reputation builder, media trainer, speaker coach, and leadership advisor. Her teaching approach is grounded in adult learning principles, experiential learning, and neuroscience, ensuring students acquire real-world skills and adaptable mindsets for lasting success. Her workshops and seminars equip participants to communicate strategically and speak with clarity that compels action.  Amy enjoys singing with the Stay at Tone Moms and volunteering with the SAi Resident Collective, Quest Science Center, and Beyond the PhD.
