About Jeremy Edwards:

Jeremy Edwards recently served a 12+ years at the University of Chicago, having served as the Senior Associate Dean for Academic & Student Affairs, Professional & Career Development for a decade, and as Director of Admissions and Senior Advisor for leadership development. In January 2024, Jeremy founded a strategy and leadership development advisory for learning institutions, nonprofits, and startups. He and his team coach and train university executives and social impact leaders on organizational development strategies and leadership positioning.

Early in his career, Jeremy served as Coordinator of International Relations and Instructor for the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), focused on curricular reform and civic development programs. He later worked for a boutique immigration law firm in Chicago, specializing in labor visas, asylum research, and Homeland Security and Department of Labor policies. He later co-founded and served as Deputy Director for a Chicago Public Schools health education program for at-risk and disadvantaged youth. Jeremy has also served as faculty for the Graduate School of Public Service at DePaul University, where he taught core courses in Public Service Management and International Comparative Public Policy.

Jeremy completed the Executive Leadership program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and holds an MS in management from DePaul University, specializing in international policy and program evaluation. He studied nonprofit management and policy in Germany, labor migration and urbanization in China, and holds certificates in political economy, nonprofit management, and process strategy. He holds a BA in organizational behavior and international development from Murray State University.
