Lisa Voronkova is CEO of OVA Solutions, a medical device R&D company with 60+ engineers specializing in hardware development from concept through manufacturing. Over 9 years, she has developed 200+ medical devices across Class I-III categories, with particular focus on complex Class III implantables, wearables, and surgical equipment.
She is the author of "Hardware Bible: Build a Medical Device from Scratch" (2024), used in Canadian university programs, and brings hands-on experience spanning regulatory strategy, design-for-manufacturing, and startup commercialization. Prior to OVA Solutions, Lisa founded a medical device startup that exited to Stanford Medicine in 2017.
She mentors Wond'ry founders on technical feasibility, FDA pathways, hospital adoption strategies, and avoiding common medtech pitfalls.
