A lifelong design aficionado, Meredyth credits being raised by a magician and antiques dealer for her entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen, insatiable passion for creative problem-solving, and quest for the art of what’s possible. Along the way, she’s helped brands of all sizes figure out how to use marketing and strategic messaging to reach their potential.

Before launching The Eight, she spent the last decade serving in CMO and senior leadership roles spanning professional services firms (both public and PE-backed) in the accounting and advisory space, urban mobility & public transportation, B2B technology and enterprise software where she’s channeled her extensive brand marketing and communications expertise to increase pricing power, transform business models, empower communities, and shape employee culture. She holds a BA. in Political Science from Virginia Commonwealth University and earned a mini-MBA in brand management.
