About Parvathi Santhosh-Kumar:

Parvathi “Parv” Santhosh-Kumar is a future-oriented and collaborative
systems change leader working to measurably improve the well-being
outcomes of children and families furthest from opportunity. She brings an
equity-centered and improvement-driven approach to large-scale social
change, with over a decade of experience working to transform systems in
education and economic mobility – locally, nationally, and globally.

As Vice President of Community Impact at America’s Promise Alliance – a
practitioners’ community for youth-supporting organizations – she leads
immersive programming to build the capacity of leaders to address their
most pressing organizational challenges and collaborate on collective action
efforts to advance equitable outcomes for every next generation.

Parv is an advanced Results Count leadership practitioner and a certified
advanced practitioner in emergent learning. She coaches and facilitates
executive leaders to scale impact, regularly designing and facilitating
experiences that move people from ideation to action, with a focus on
strategic change management, systems thinking, scaling social innovation,
continuous quality improvement, accountability for equitable results,
measuring the impact of equity, targeted universalism, leading large-scale
change, building highly effective teams, results-based facilitation, emergent
learning, emotional intelligence, and collective impact.

Previously, Parv shepherded a movement of place-based partnerships
working to change systems and improve outcomes for every child, cradle to
career at StriveTogether and served Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel on
executing his education policy agenda. She earned a BA in American Studies
from Northwestern and an MPP from Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of
Government. She lives in Nashville with her husband and daughter.
