About Rich Hull:

Rich is a CEO, founder, and investor with a 25-year history of operating and scaling successful technology and media companies comprising both national and international footprints. He is currently CEO of Miso Robotics, which, with its partner Ecolab (NYSE: ECL), is leading the AI and robotics revolution for modern restaurants.

Prior to Miso, he was a founder of the ViX streaming service (formerly known as Pongalo), the world's largest streaming service for Spanish speakers, which was acquired in 2021 by TelevisaUnivision. ViX was named Apple’s TV App of the Year (the first Spanish-language app to win Apple’s top global honor), offers 75,000 hours of content through a robust technology engine, and generated $1 billion of revenue in 2024. At TelevisaUnivision, Rich managed a $1.5 billion P&L, and led most of the company's first major digital distribution deals.

Previously, Rich was founder and CEO of Avalanche! Capital, an investment, operating, and turnaround platform for venture, growth, and distressed assets, where he built a portfolio that includes ViX, Miso, and 30 other successful tech and media companies.

In the first half of his career, Rich founded and led Avalanche! Entertainment, where he worked with most major U.S. studios as a film producer and financier. His 25+ projects have generated hundreds of millions of dollars of revenue and range from movies such as Disney/Miramax's "She's All That," one of the most successful teen movies in history...to studio sequels, such as for "Daddy Day Care"...to documentaries such as his award-winning collaborations with Halle Berry, "For Love of Liberty: The Story of America's Black Patriots” (for which he won the NAACP Image Award) and Chris Pratt, "Fighting Spirit: A Combat Chaplain's Journey."

For his leadership, Rich has been honored with the Los Angeles Business Journal's LA500 Award of its 500 most influential people; Variety's Dealmaker of the Year; Forbes' list of America's top entrepreneurs; the streaming industry's OTT.X Hero Award; and the Vanderbilt Way distinguished alumnus award. He's a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences and the Academy of TV Arts & Sciences, and is co-founder of Vanderbilt-in-Hollywood, which has placed hundreds of student-interns for over 20 years, and grants need-based scholarships that Rich established. He has been active on numerous non-profit boards, including Vanderbilt University's Alumni Association, OTT.X, Paulist Productions (the multi-Emmy-winning media group that tells positive human stories), and the James Beard Awards Committee.
