Stephen Grillos is a product and engineering executive, entrepreneur, and AI-native systems builder specializing in regulated and complex industries. He currently serves as Head of Product & Engineering at SiteRx, an AI-powered clinical-trial recruitment company, where he leads a 100+ person cross-functional organization spanning product, engineering, data science, QA, and compliance. Under his leadership, SiteRx has achieved 300%+ revenue growth while expanding into highly regulated markets across healthcare, pharma, and life sciences.

Stephen has built and scaled multiple AI-native platforms in healthcare, compliance automation, developer tooling, and creator-economy verticals. His work focuses on applying Clayton Christensen’s Jobs-to-Be-Done and Disruptive Innovation frameworks to uncover overserved markets and design wedge products that can realistically scale inside real regulatory and operational constraints.

He is particularly passionate about mentoring founders building in “hard mode” environments — healthcare, fintech, govtech, climate, education, and other regulated or compliance-heavy domains — where speed, governance, and trust must coexist. Stephen helps early-stage teams move from abstract ideas to validated product strategy, defensible moats, and execution systems that actually survive contact with reality.

Outside of his professional work, Stephen is also an active musician, martial artist, and multi-project founder exploring AI-native platforms for education, and personal development.
